I looked through our photos on fb. Goddamn I miss u woman! Really can’t wait to come back to see u again :)
We’re going to Japan on Wednesday and we’ve only gotten lil Taiwanese dollar left and were hoping we can get by not exchanging any until we come back. Having said that I’m going to explore and shop by myself tomorrow through some of the shopping centers. Credit card to the rescue :)
I dont know if that’s a smart thing to shop before going to Japan but I imagine stuff will be cheaper here due to the exchange rate. Plus stuff I’m going for are basic clean timeless stuff like Muji and Uniqlo anyway. I’ll message you tomorrow if I need ur advice ok? ;)

awesome stuff, go read the original post. when u think about, everything it says is logical and not very technical.
hybb assemble!
this video is of our hundred yen training session tonight. as promised, i’ve been attending monday nite sessions 2 weeks in a row! chux is heading for korea this sunday with jack and monsta to represent australia in a 3 on 3 hip hop freestyle battle. all the best boys, go smoke some dancers! meanwhile, tim just came back from his nyc shenanigans and look what he got me!
goof troop
man, i love the old disney. watching any old disney cartoons is like stepping into a time machine back to my childhood. out of the main mascots, goofy was always my favourite (donald’s voice was too annoying, and mickey was too boring for me) the clip above is of the intro to the goof troop cartoon series. i totally forgot how catchy the song is!
i had dinner with one of my long time highschool friend and we ended up playing some old snes games on emulator. one of our favourite co-op games was goof troop! this game is made by capcom, and unlike most games based on movies/cartoon, it’s actually very good! it’s not a very lengthy game, you ca finish it in a single sitting in 1-2 hours. despite that, i’ve replayed this game numerous times with different people. it’s definitely one of my favourite snes games of all time. look out for my top 10 lists in the near future! i’m very keen on coming up with my top 10 games list by genre, console, etc.. :D
fun with metal balls
no homo. but seriously, i found one of these cool puzzle toys in one of my colleagues desk. they look like small ball bearings but made out of neodymium magnets. i believe the original is made by neocube but there are many cheaper knock offs out there that will do the same job.
unfortunately i’ve seen that some sites has stopped selling these due to swallowing hazard that may cause intestinal injury or in some rare case, death! that aside, assuming you’re a responsible adult (and u will need to be, these things arent cheap!) check out the cool stuff u can do with them on the video below:
adobe creative sweet!
got the adobe creative suite 5 web premium set for cheap today. thanks to my older bro for hooking me up. heaps excited to learn all the how to use all the programs and not to mention having a newer version than what my workplace has, w00t!
i checked out their video tutorial section and came across photoshop touch. holy crap it’s cool. it bassicaly connects photoshop to an ipad wirelessly and turn it into a secondary touch screen for navigation. check out video below:
google + apple
for those fortunate enough to have a google+ account, they’ve finally released the official google+ app for the ios (ie. iphones). it’s free to download from the app store since this morning
nex gen
for those sony alpha users out there, there’s a new firmware available for the nex and slt series. the big new feature is the inclusion of a picture effect which includes nifty effects such as:
partial colour
pop colour
retro effect
toy camera
i’ve played around with this a lil bit and it’s quite fun to use. on top of this, it also has a new peakingfeature which can be set to high, medium or low setting, highlighting overexposed sections with white yellow or red. unfortunately i haven’t tried this feature at the time of writing. i’m a bit slack in getting this update, it’s been out since late last month.
this is the 3rd firmware upgrade from sony in a year since the camera has been released. it’s very good to know that they still support older models. coincidentally these new features are first introduced in the newly released nex-c3model which has been getting very positive reviews.
from my personal experience from playing with the unit, i highly recommend the nex-c3 for anyone looking to buy a new compact camera. do yourself a favour, skip point and shoot, you’ll never look back!
